- Limit my "yeses" so that they carry more weight when used.
- Discover what only I can do and do it.
- Discover what is in my schedule that others can do and surround myself with people who can do it (chances are they are better at it than me anyway).
- Set aside time to dream; it keeps my pace hot, focused, and hungry.

Lessons from the Journey
The time I have each day should be productive. For most of us we are not in need of "working harder" but rather "working smarter". One of the things that sets one leader apart from another is what he/she accomplishes with the time given to them. In an effort to be as productive as possible, I have been evaluating my calendaring, systems, and relational investments to measure my impact. It is amazing how much more time is opened up when non-essentials are streamlined. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow but lets make it count if it comes. Here are some things that have been helpful to me:
