My Weekend...

We hate that I missed Sunday at Discover but Brittni and I had a great time in Wilmington, NC at my bro Jordan and his new bride Christian's wedding.  I had the privilege of being the best man and standing beside Jordan while he made his vows in front of God, family and friends.

Thanks to such an amazing DC team I am able to get away and enjoy such an incredible time with my family.  It is great to hear that when I am gone that things actually run smoother than when I am present.  You make me proud to be your pastor...

Launch Sunday

Really proud of our Discover Church team. Our launch went incredibly well on Sunday night despite several challenges. This is a pic (for more pics/video check out the Facebook page) of our new set for the Illuminate series. For the next 3 weeks we will be attempting to make visible God's priorities for His church and in doing that unpack the commitments of Discover Church.

World's Greatest Launch Team

If you come to Discover Church on a Sunday night you may not get to see all of the people that really make things happen. Sooo here are some pics from this past Launch Team Meeting. Not everyone was present but you can see how blessed we are to have so many amazing people commit to give and serve to get Discover Church off the ground!

Love is Forgiving

Great time at the Gathering on Sunday night. God was faithful to set many free as they opened up their lives and their past to His grace. This is pic of what freedom looks like! Discover Service Event

On Sunday Discover Church had a full day of service! From 12-3pm we showed the Jupiter/Gardens community that service is something that we not only talk about but also flesh out. We had the privilege of serving around 260 hot dogs and 300 bottles of water to people while they were relaxing on the beach at Carlin Park. Largely we have heard that people in this area are disinterested in "church" (only 5% go to church) because they feel the "church" has become disinterested in them. Our hope is that people will see how interested Jesus is in their lives by us serving them in such a simple way!

After cleaning up we went to FBC of West Palm Beach and served them by handling their childcare for birth thru 5th grade during their "Leadership Rally". I grew such deep appreciation for the children's ministry workers as Brittni and I had 4 beautiful 1-2 year olds in our room. Overall, the day was a huge success and we loved being able to partner with another church in our area that is doing so many great things for the Kingdom!

The Discover Church team did GREAT and I am so proud to be their pastor! So many exciting days ahead...
